We learnt so much on our trip to Baitful Hafeez Mosque in Sneinton. We thoroughly enjoyed our journey into Nottingham, looking at all the different types of houses and buildings, we found it fascinating that the mosque was in a very built-up area. We looked at the outside of Baitful Hafeez Mosque and compared this to a church and how different it looks. It was extremely interesting seeing inside a mosque; at the interesting shaped rooms, looking at Islamic artefacts and seeing how Muslims worship (after hearing a call to prayer). We were welcomed by the Iman who answered all our questions alongside other Muslims, they were very kind and welcomed us warmly. They also questioned us on the differences in how we worship in a church. We also got to have a good run around outside after we had filled our brains with new information!
