Mr Nolan organised a Year 5/6 football match at home against Bleasby. We had a super time - great teamwork. Bleasby managed to score the only goal of the game but what a great atmosphere. Thanks for coming to watch and support us.
Our Easter service took place on the final day of term. The church was full of parents and carers, who loved listening to our Bible readings and songs as well as looking at some lovely art work.
We took turns for each class do egg rolling. The closest egg to the chocolate egg was the winner - Zachary was thrilled to win Oak's prize this year.
We are very proud of our Viking longships. We followed instructions and produced our own 3D versions.
We went off to Perlethorpe for the day. We were Anlgo-saxons in the morning, then Vikings in the afternoon. Mrs Speed came to visit us in the afternoon
The whole school went out for a play in the snow. We built snowmen and had a great time. We had to be quick as it didn't last long!
As part of our history topic this term, we enjoyed finding out what the Anglo-Saxons and the Vikings ate. We had a go at cooking some of these and then tasting them afterwards.
We studied the painting, Mr and Mrs Andrews and did a range of activities based on it. The whole school showed these off to the parents in a special assembly.
See what we will be learning about in the Spring Term.
The children did an amazing Church service this morning. Thank you to Mary and Jeremy for the 'Address' and to the parents and governors who attended to share the message at Christmastime and join in the singing. Wishing everyone a peaceful and restful Christmas holiday.
We made some lovely creations in weekly sewing club with Mrs McCracken which will make great Christmas presents. Thank you to Millie's mum for helping.
